TN Sports Concussion Law--What Parents Need to Know

We are now required to have a consent form signed by each player's parent or legal guardian prior to the beginning of the practice season. Before signing up online, please follow our link to the Centers for Disease Control and read the Informational Fact Sheet for Parents entitled Heads Up Concussion in Youth Sports. Once you have read this thoroughly, then follow our link to TN Dept of Health and complete the Parent Athlete Signature Form. This signature page must be returned to WSL by Feb 21st so that your child will be allowed to attend his/her first practice. It can be mailed to PO Box 114, Westmoreland TN. 37186, or emailed to [email protected]. If it is easier for you to print and fax, please text 615.604.3359 for specific faxing instructions. Again, this is a state law that has been passed to increase the safety of all youth athletes during practice and games. If you sign up at any of our in-person registrations, you will be required to complete this paperwork with your registration forms. We appreciate everyone's cooperation ensuring our players have a fun, safe soccer experience with WSL.
